One of the stories from the French Cup trophy presentation had Neymar and a Rennes fan in the limelight. As he prepared to climb the stairs in the stands to collect his consolation prize, a fan told him something that provoked the Brazilian striker's anger.
"I'm not going to argue if it was the right way to resolve the matter, but it was deserved, it was! He said this and recorded it: 'Buffon, you're retarded. Kurzawa, I don't want your greetings. Verratti, racist. Neymar, you're a cabr**, learn to play," wrote the Brazilian's image consultant in his Instagram account.
"These kinds of reactions should not be admitted. They are players with a hot head after losing a final and an idiot provokes them," he continued, trying to explain the Brazilian's attitude.
Finally, he wondered why there had been no criticism of the Rennes supporter: "He's not to blame, is he? I didn't read a single criticism of this follower's behavior. He deserved it".
Neymar himself replied to the publication of his image consultant and, although he admitted his mistake, tried to justify the way he acted.
"Was I wrong? Yes, but no one has cockroach blood," he wrote after the incident.
