Mina, who has been linked with a move away from the club this summer, has made now made statements that suggest he is keen for a change of scenery.
"I want to take the best decision, but being calm is the most important," the Colombian stated, as reported by Spanish outlet 'MARCA'. "I want the best for my life."
"I fulfilled my dream by coming to Barcelona, but this year I have had very difficult moments. I want a team where I am calm and I get minutes."
It is the first time that the defender has made rumblings about leaving the club, after arriving from Palmeiras in January. The centre-back has made just six appearances since then, and with Barca recently signing Clement Lenglet, it seems unlikely Mina will get much more gametime next season either.
He expressed that it had been a tough year for him, due to the lack of game-time.
"Cuadrado has always given me advice, I felt at points that everything was falling apart for me," he said. "It isn't easy to watch games and watch your teammates through the TV screen. When I got to the national team and I wasn't starting, I also had a slump, especially against Japan."
"The club that I fell in love was Barcelona, because Ronaldinho was there, although my mum liked Chelsea."
Mina had a good campaign at the World Cup on a personal level, scoring three times, but he is disappointed at his nation's exit in the round of 16.
"I came out of Russia sad, I thought we could give more," he said. "I am sad because it was an opportunity to make history. We are going to carry on working for what's to come. I am sad, but I know that we gave it our all."
Mina isn't backing either side to win the tournament, though, saying both finalists are worthy winners. "I don't have a favourite," he explained. "France and Croatia both deserve the trophy. I have teammates in both teams. I'm 50/50."
