"I think that Nico got scared that Barca wouldn't register him"

Barca are once again making headlines in the world of football. Although Marcus Rashford has not yet been officially announced, Barca already have him in their ranks. The arrival of the Briton has come about thanks to the fact that the club did not undertake several operations, such as that of Luis Diaz or Nico Williams.
The Athletic player's name came to the fore during an interview with Marc Cucurella by Gerard Romero. The journalist said that the winger prioritised money over footballing growth, while the Chelsea player defended his national team-mate and explained why he believes he did not sign for the Catalan side.
"I think he was a bit scared that Barca would not register him. I don't know, but I get that feeling", said the defender openly at his summer campus. The director of 'Jijantes' was very surprised and asked him what he would have done in the same situation.
"Barca signs you tomorrow. They pay 65 million... You don't come because you're afraid", insisted Gerard Romero. Cucurella's answer wasn't long in coming. "I don't know, and if they can't register you, what do you do? The truth is that, nowadays, I don't trust anyone in this world", said Cucurella, who received a thunderous ovation from the children present.
Finally, the Spanish international spoke of Rashford's qualities. "He is very quick and will notice the difference in pace between the two leagues. He's used to that league (the Premier League) and I think he's going to do a lot of work, because he'll notice the difference.
