Barcelona or Juventus? There are rumours over where Morata could play next season. This Wednesday, the Italian coach has spoken in a press conference and he has done so firmly.
"Alvaro Morata isn't leaving, he's a footballer who performs well. His problem is that they put unfair tags on him, but he's very important," the Juventus coach said about the Spaniard.
"I spoke to him and I said to him that he isn't moving from here. End of discussion." Morata wants to leave for the Catalan capital, but he is coming up against the opposition of a Juventus who want to keep hold of him until, at least, the end of the season.
Barcelona, meanwhile, are working to try and sell players who are not wanted by Xavi so they can register Ferran Torres in La Liga. They've managed to do it with Dani Alves, but the coming weeks will be key at the Camp Nou.
Morata has a contract with Juventus until the end of the season and the Italian have an option to buy him. If they do not take up that option, he will return to Atletico Madrid, but Barca's intention is for him to go there until the end of the season.
The only thing that could change Juventus' opinion is if Mauro Icardi joins the club. The Argentine has got less game time at PSG. That is the only way Morata could end up at Barcelona, the Italian media report.
