The 41-year-old earned his nickname through his love of the Mexican dish, but has promised to swear off any Mexican cuisine if they defeat Sweden in the group stages on Wednesday.
The Swedish side risk being eliminated from the World Cup unless they are able to triumph over current group leaders Mexico.
Svensson, who formerly played for Southampton, said: ''It's the last time I'll eat it if Mexico knock Sweden out. It's a huge sacrifice from me, so make sure you eat them [the Mexicans] up. Best of luck.''
