Gerard Pique talked to journalist Ricardo Rosety on 'Vamos' ahead of 'El Clasico'. The central defender analysed how his team are going into the game and he also showed his more personal side.
The 34 year-old central defender is one of the most famous players in the team and he does not hide that. He is also a good friend of streamer Ibai Llanos and likes the business side of sport. Pique has not ruled a possible goodbye sooner rather than later.
The footballer feels more mature now, but he has not lost that peculiar and rebellious character of his. That is how he defines himself. It all depends on how things go.
"Maturity goes through phases. With age and when you've experienced a bit of everything, you prefer stability and being calm. My family's good and I'm doing well in the team. I'm good," he said.
But Pique knows he will have to say goodbye at some moment and we may not have to wait too long for that. In fact, it will likely be sooner rather than later.
"I still have the rebelious side of Gerard who gets into trouble, but I'm enjoying it. I know I don't have long left and I don't know how long, so I have to enjoy," he said.
