Barcelona's Chilean midfielder, Arturo Vidal, said that the remaining eleven league matches "will be like eleven finals" and that the squad is clear that "it will be very difficult" to win.
"We don't have to be confident, we have to think about winning and doing it in the best way," said Vidal in an interview broadcast by the Catalan club.
If the Barça rises again with the title, the midfielder would win his ninth consecutive league. "It would be a dream. Achieving a record with so many cups is very difficult, but I still feel good to continue fighting and winning trophies. Few players have done it in history and I feel proud, I hope to win the ninth here, with Barcelona," he said.
After the confinement due to the coronavirus pandemic, the club has slowly returned to normal training, something that Arturo Vidal celebrates.
"It has been an incredible joy to return to training. These two months locked up were quite long. You really enjoy being out on the pitch with your team-mates, they're very nice experiences to have. Now we're coming back and we're doing very well. We're facing a very important few months," he said.
The Chilean international also pointed out that this break has allowed his team-mate Luis Suarez to recover from his knee surgery: "For us, it's very important to get Luis and the injured back because it's going to be an intense two months with a lot of games in a row. We need to be at 100 percent for the two competitions we have left."
Vidal, however, assumes that in the coming months we will have to fight for more titles with empty stadiums. "I like to connect with the public, I feel good and I have a lot of joy and drive, but we have to adapt," he concluded with resignation.
