"I feel bad when I spend 300 or 400 euros in one night"

"Many times I go out with my family and spend 300 or 400 euros. Afterwards, I think about how many Brazilian Reals that is and I feel guilty for spending that amount of money in just one night," he declared in a chat with the journalist Raiam Santos. 

In this chat, he recalled the beginning of his career and how little he was earning then. Alex Sandro is the 12th highest earning player at Juventus. He has a contract until 2023 and an annual salary of five million euros a year, according to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport'. 

"When I joined the Athletico Paranaense academy at 15, I was earning 100 dollars a month. The club paid for my accommodation, food and education so I used to spend 50 and save the other 50. My first big achievement in football was when I started earning 300 dollars and I gave them to my parents to pay for things in the house. I could have bought myself something, but I had to help my family," he continued. 

Now Alex Sandro, a Juventus player, Brazil international and multi million euro footballer, has no problem in admitting that he does not like the economic differences there are in society.
