It is not the first time Arturo Vidal speaks about his role at Barcelona nor the first time he has complained about it. "I'm not happy, I'm not happy, but I'm trying to turn this around and earn myself a place in the starting line-up," he said to 'El Mercurio'.
"I can't understand the reason, I've been a starter all my career. I'm not happy with the situation, but they are decisions from the coach. I only try to help when I when I ger the chance and I always train in the best way possible," the midfielder added.
Arturo Vidal said that he continues "working hard". "I know that no one does what I do. I have always started, won the affection of my teammates, my coaches, I've always been given confidence. And when something happens like what is happening now, it's difficult. You have to give it your all, I'm doing that and at sometime, I will get the opportunity," the Chilean midfielder continued.
Arturo Vidal also spoke about the reports which say he is on Inter's radar. "That makes me remember many nice things I experienced with him (Conte). The amount I improved to become one of the best was thanks to Conte's help. The most important thing in football is confidence. And when a coach like that, who is top class, gives you confidence, he makes you improve a lot. But at Barca I'm working to not keep dropping out of the starting XI and to achieve the important goals we have this season."
Lastly, Arturo Vidal spoke about his future. "In five years, I imagine myself in Chile. God willing I will still be playing. Retiring at Colo Colo would be ideal: end up playing, fighting for the Libertadores, to be champions. If I don't get injured, I could achieve it as I look after myself well and train well," he concluded.
