The years go by and Cristiano Ronaldo is still there. The Portuguese who is currently at Juventus has been one of the best players in the world for almost 15 years. And he's still got time left.
He enjoyed his Christmas holidays and went to Dubai to give a talk at the 14th Dubai International Sports Conference. There Cristiano spoke about everything and gave the key things to reach the top before attending the 'Globe Soccer Awards' on Sunday.
"The most important thing is to always keep the motivation high to maintain this level. I no longer have to prove anything to anyone but myself and my family, now I have to enjoy this", he said in some words collected by 'Marca'.
He made it very clear that to stay at the top at the age of 34 you have to have a good work ethic.
"Winning everywhere I've been is no coincidence, when you're a champion you always win. Without a lot of work, without dedication and passion for what you do, you can't achieve everything that the awards, the trophies, the records and the statistics say", he explained.
Despite him continuing to have a lot of ambition, Cristiano made it clear that he is now thinking about a future outside of football.
"There's life after football. Winning one Champions League more or less isn't going to make me any happier, although of course, I want to win it. But I'm preparing for a new life in which I want to participate in new things: improve my English, make a movie in Hollywood... ", the Portuguese said, who also want to reveal that no matter how busy his schedule is, there's always time for everything.
"The day has 24 hours. You have to find a balance, it's not just training and training. When you see that the body does not have the same capacity to respond to what the head tells it, you have to know how to accept that and face it", he added.
