Courtois is clear that the fairest thing for everyone is for the competition to be finished on the pitch. And that is what is expected to happen.
The Belgian wanted to emphasise this idea after the criticism received for his opinion on the possibility of giving Barça the championship in the offices if La Liga can not return.
"At no time did I say that Madrid would be champions if La Liga ended, we are better off even if we lost to Betis. If we play the remaining eleven games, I am confident that my team can win La Liga," he explained in statements collected by 'Marca'.
On another note, Courtois told how the training went. "It was strange, different... Feeling the grass and training is better than nothing," he said.
"We've been wearing gloves, with a mask, two metres apart... It was different. But even from a distance, there are the same little quarrels," he concluded.
