The two forwards will go head to head this weekend, when Arsenal host Tottenham in the North London derby at the Emirates, but former top flight striker Chris Sutton says there is only one man he would chose for a top flight team.
Writing in his column for the 'Daily Mail' Chris Sutton was incredulous at the notion that Kane, after scoring 12 goals in his last 23 matches, is out of form.
Of Kane's qualities, Sutton writes: 'He is the ultimate all-round forward. He scores with both feet, his head, is lethal in the box and deadly from distance.'
Sutton then continued by stating that Kane was the best type of forward, and he himself would have loved to have played alongside the England captain.
He added: ' He is the sort of player I’d have loved to play alongside — a forward who comes into his own whenever the ball is played in behind or slid into the channel.'
While the former Blackburn Rovers did admit that the pace of Arsenal's Aubameyang gives the Gabon international the 'upper hand' in terms of physicality.
Sutton believes that Kane is the more influential man for his side, as he provides more build up play and assists.
He continued: 'If Kane doesn’t shoot from distance, he will look to send runners scampering in behind. Torreira must restrict his space to prevent him from doing so. Fail to get tight to Kane and he will punish them.'
