Czeslaw Michniewicz is the current coach of Poland, where Robert Lewandowski is the star player, and he gave an interview to 'TVP Spot', a Polish sports channel. He spoke openly about the possibility of the striker leaving Bayern Munich for Barcelona.
"In a conversation with me, he told me that there is a possibility he could leave. He is now at a big club like Bayern, but I would like him to be at FC Barcelona, it would be good to have a Pole there," he said.
Michniewicz has led Poland to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after a 2-0 play-off win over Sweden. It is likely to be the last World Cup that Lewandowski will be able to attend at full fitness, as he will be 34 years old.
The latest reports place the Pole closer to Barça, and even the president, Joan Laporta, did not rule out his arrival. There is talk that the Spaniards would not put more than 35 million to get the striker.
