Mauro Icardi's great performance at the start of the season, accompanied by Edinson Cavani's injury and veteran status, has led Thomas Tuchel to replace the Uruguayan striker in PSG's starting line-up.
Before the game against Brest, the German coach analysed the new status of the strikers, regretting that he cannot make all of them happy: "He- Cavani- is disappointed. He is used to playing a lot of games in the starting eleven."
"And it is a big difference for someone who has always started. This is something new that will affect his confidence and his physical state," he continued about Cavani.
And he praised his attitude: "He trained with the substitutes and he did well, with a great mentality. He is disappointed, but he gives it his all and doesn't give up, he's very professional."
Tuchel stated that he is not able to make everyone happy, beause he can only play eleven: "I cannot make everyone happy. This is how a club like PSG works."
