Coutinho scored a goal from outside the box against United and sparked a controversial celebration that has garnered him much criticism.
Despite this performance, the Brazilian is aware that he is completing a bad campaign in Barcelona and that he is not meeting expectations, as he was the most expensive signing for the Catalan team.
"It's not my best season. It hasn't been the best or one of the best from a personal point of view, talking about me, but I always have that will to learn, every game is an opportunity," said the Brazilian in Ale Oliveira's Youtube channel.
"I live in the moment, and the aim is always to get the best result for the game. I don't think about the next one, about those who come after," he said.
Coutinho, who was already criticized for his performance before this game, seems to be struggling to find his place in the Valverde's squad. However, he seems to have the key to overcome his recent poorer performances.
"I tell myself to remain centered in order to be able to live the moment, with intesity, and change this situation. Everything will come if I remain calm, work, and keep a clear head," he added.
Finally, the footballer asked for patience from Barcelona fans: "I think everywhere you need time to adapt. I've been here for a year and two months, but always with the same desire to learn, evolve, grow and win on the field".
