"I always dreamed of making my family's dream come true"

Vinicius has shown is more than just an outstanding footballer. The Real Madrid player leads a project in Brazil which helps school children across the country.

To mark the one year anniversary of his charitable organisation, the Vinicius Jr. Institution, the winger organised a gala in Rio where he managed to raise 120,000 euros to provide technology resources for children in schools,

According to 'AS', the Brazilian became emotional when talking about his childhood: "I always dreamed of this moment. I always dreamed of making my family's dreams come true, which is none other than to help those who need it as much as I did when i was younger. It has only been a year since we started our work at the Vinicius Jr. Insititution, but we are already helping lots of people".

"For me, celebrating a year of my Institution and everything that we are doing is as important as scoring a goal in the Champions League final. It has been a very special season and now I am going for more", Vinicius added in comments to 'AS'.
