Valencia's centremidfielder, Hugo Guillamón is suffering from a fractured third metatarsal in his right foot. This comes after the completion of a medical examination which has been confirmed by the club via an official statement.
The Spain international got injured during training last Friday after suffering from "a direct trauma in his right foot". Because of this, he will miss out on the final game of the season against Celta at the Mestalla on Saturday.
As usual, the club have not revealed how long it will take him to recover and their statement claims that "he will undergo orthopedic treatment".
Guillamón has appeared in 37 matches for Valencia this season, 31 in the league and six in the Cup. He is an important player for the team but he will not be sorely missed for the Celta match as 'Los Naranjas' have nothing to play for on Saturday.
