Hudson-Odoi ruptured his achilles tendon playing for Chelsea against Burnley in the Premier League a few weeks ago. An incredibly unfortunate injury for the English winger.
However, Bayern have made it clear that they want Hudson-Odoi this summer, after coming incredibly close to signing him in January. The German press have confirmed that the injury to Hudson-Odoi does not act as an obstacle.
His name has been on Bayern's radar for some time now, and they intend to keep fighting for his signature.
According to the same media, the club have already made an offer for Hudson-Odoi in the region of 40 million pounds, which was rejected by Chelsea in January. Bayern will try to test Chelsea's resolve again in the summer, but as they have now secured Champions League football, it may be easier for them to say no, knowing Hudson-Odoi will want to feature in the Champions League.
