Having established a reputation for playing open, attacking football, Eddie Howe and his Bournemouth side have progressed unbelievably from the bottom rung of the Football League. Now consistently impressing in the Premier League, even more so this season where after five games they sit ahead of Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United, how long will Howe stay with the 'cherries'?
Having spent nine years at the south coast club, over two different spells in charge, the 40 year old Englishman should be next in line at one of the country's biggest clubs according to pundit Jamie Redknapp.
In his 'Daily Mail' column Redknapp, who's father Harry also managed Bounrmeouth and regularly attends their games is quoted as saying: ''When will a big club take a chance on Eddie Howe?
''He has taken this Bournemouth team all the way from League Two and established them as a Premier League side.
''Look at Ryan Fraser, Callum Wilson, Josh King — he improves players and gets them playing exciting, attacking football.
''He would have been a perfect fit for Arsenal in the summer but he did not seem to be among those seriously considered for the job.
''Eddie is a brilliant manager and is more than worthy of a huge opportunity.''
