Fun as it may be, and indeed one or more of the players displayed will probably be signed this summer, a mixture of Financial Fair Play laws and just pure common sense mean that this starting XI will never be realised. But it's a team that would put fear into the hearts of any opponents, and would allow Zidane to continue the legend of the Real Madrid 'Galacticos' that he was a part of in the noughties.
Despite the arrival of goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois in the summer, something that Zidane will surely take into consideration, 'The Sun' believe David De Gea could move to the Spanish capital.
The defensive line has been left completely untouched by the British newspaper. Dani Carvajal and Sergio Reguilon would fill in at right and left-back respectively, implying that Brazilian veteran Marcelo will be sold this summer. Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane, meanwhile, would continue their partnership in central defence.
It's the middle of the pitch that sees the most change, however. N'Golo Kante of Chelsea would come into the fold, as would fellow Frenchman Paul Pogba. The third place would be taken by Danish playmaker Christian Eriksen, currently plying his trade at Tottenham, and who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid pretty much all season.
The forward line would involve a heavy raid of French giants PSG, with both Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr making moves. The latter is another who has been heavily linked with a move to the Spanish capital.
Eden Hazard woud come in on the left wing, with Gareth Bale's already precarious position in the side seemingly made worse by the arrival of Zidane, who is known to not be keen on the Welshman. On the bench would be Courtois and five other survivors from the current Real Madrid squad, those being Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos, Vinicius and Casemiro.
A team of this quality, which would represent a new generation 'super-Galacticos', would come at a cost of roughly £900 million.
