'How can you sell Cristiano for 100 million euros?'

Ronaldo said this. Ronaldo said that. He considered remaining at Real Madrid, but ended up packing his bags to start a new chapter in Serie A with Juventus, after having conquered La Liga, and the Premier League before that. 

In an interview with Italian newspaper 'Corriere dello Sport', former Chelsea boss and compatriot of Ronaldo, Andre Villas-Boas gave his opinion on the transfer of Ronaldo to the Turin Club: "I was totally surprised."

The thing that the manager did not understand, was the price that Juventus paid for the player; "How can you selll Cristiano for 100 million? It does not make sense from any point of view..."

Currently, Villas-Boas is without a team, after being sacked by Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG last year.  He is however, hoping to return soon, adding: "I'm not in a hurry, I'll wait and see how the season goes."
