It's no surprise that teams are keen to tempt Nagelsmann away from his current side. The Hoffenheim boss is the youngest manager in the Bundesliga, and is widely regarded as one of the most promising managerial talents about. The 30-year-old led Hoffenheim into the Champions League for the first time in the club's history last season, and the side are now two points off a top-four finish again this season.
With such an impressive CV at such a young age, it comes as no shock that he has been linked with jobs in the Premier League. Arsenal, who are on the hunt for a successor to Arsene Wenger, and Chelsea, who many suspect will fire Antonio Conte at the end of the season, are two touted destinations.
The young coach masterminded a 5-2 victory over rivals RB Leipzig on Saturday, however before the game he dismissed speculation linking him to the English league. "I don't think so, no. These are just rumours," he responded when 'Sky Sports Germany' asked about the links. "I focus on myself and my team the focus is on nothing else."
That being said, the rumours do not bother Nagelsmann. "I'm not annoyed by the discussions," he added. "I focus on myself and my team and want to make a good game here today."
One of Naglesmann's signings, Serge Gnabry, believes that the German is one of the top coaches about.
"For sure you can say he [Nagelsmann] is one of the best," Gnabry said. "He's mainly the reason why I came here. I felt with him I could improve and learn a lot."
"There were a lot of tactical aspects to his style which I wanted to add to my game so I'm even stronger in the future."
