Werner will not be leaving London. The striker has had a mixture of good and bad moments at Chelsea. He won the Champions League and shone on occassions, but he has not reached the level he showed while he was at Leipzig. In any case, his agent revealed he will be staying.
"You can't rule anything out, but if I had to say at this moment, I'd say that Timo Werner will definitely stay at Chelsea, He feels comfortable there. Moving will not be a problem in the future," Karlheinz Forsterbe said in an interview with 'Sport1'. In any case, his contract runs until 2025.
The striker is busy on Euros duty with Germany. The torunament could see him earn interest from other clubs if he plays welll. What is for sure is that the experience will do him good.
In his first games for his country this summer, he has scored just one goal and he got that in a friendly game prior to the start of the Euros. He has had a rather secondary role as he did not take part in the huge win over Portugal and he has mainly been used as a sub.
