"I played with Cristiano Ronaldo in Spain. Many years have gone by and now I find he is different. He's more mature, he's got a family... I'm happy to play again with him," Higuain said in an interview with 'Fox Sports'.
Gonzalo Higuain shared the dressing room with the Portuguese for four years at the Santiago Bernabeu between 2009 and 2013. The Argentinian striker, tired of alternating with Karim Benzema, moved to Napoli, where he triumphed and caught the attention of Juventus.
Fate had it that Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Turin caused Higuain's departure last summer. The Argentine tried his luck at AC Milan, but he moved in January to Chelsea to be reunited with Maurizio Sarri.
Although he did not manage to stand out at Chelsea, the Italian coach, Max Allegri's replacement in Turin, went for the Argentinian striker instead of Mario Mandzukic. A decision which is giving good results at Juve despite the fact Inter are leading Serie A.
