Higuain could continue on as a Juventus player

If there's a coach who knows how to get the best out of Gonzalo Higuain, that's Maurizio Sarri. The striker lived good seasons in Napoli, with which he scored 38 goals in 2015-16. After that season, Juventus burst the market paying 90 million for him.

32 goals in his first season in Turin, 23 in the second... and that's it. Cristiano arrived and the competition in attack grew to the point that Juventus got rid of Higuain, who spent the season on loan between Milan and Chelsea, where he again coincided with Sarri. In total, 13 goals.

Despite the drop in his performance and the passing of time catching up to him - he is 31 years old - Sarri does not lose faith in him. In his presentation he mentioned him as an option, although he did leave the final decision in the hands of the board. "It will depend on him... there are a number of key players that have been here for many years and we will make a decision about him," he said.

Later, after a new question about 'Pipita', Sarri recalled that he didn't have a good time when he had to leave Juve: "I haven't spoken to Higuaín after Baku's game. I have to talk to him because I have the feeling that he was upset last year after his departure. He has enough quality to play with whoever is in attack."

These words of Sarri match perfectly with those emitted by the brother and agent of Higuaín, who sees him triumphing in Juve.  'La Gazzetta dello Sport' reported that there is no team interested in paying Higuain's transfer and that even Juve would think about renewing his contract to renegotiate his salary.
