It seems like it is done. Both the Argentine journalist César Luis Merlo and Argentine press assure that Gabriel Heinze will become the Atlanta United manager in the next few days.
The ex-Manchester United player, amongst others, will take over at the MLS outfit who play in the CONCACAF Champions League quarter-finals against América on Wednesday.
The Argentine will sign a 2-year deal and will replace Stephen Glass, who hasn't managed to get the expected results for Atlanta United.
Heinze, who also played for Marseille and PSG, for example, is without a team after managing Vélez-Sarsfield.
