Zinho Vanheusden did not have time to find a place for himself at Inter Milan, with whom he never played a first team match. The centre-back went through the U17s and U19s before returning to Belgium.
His agent said that the intention was to give him a chance at Inter, something that didn't happen because of injuries. Well, Zinho Vanheusden ended up going back to his country and to Standard Liege for 12 million.
"Zinho would never have returned to Belgium if he had not been injured. The plan was to give him a chance in the first team of Inter as soon as possible," said his agent for 'VoetbalNiuews' in May.
Now, according to 'CalcioMercato', the defender is back on Inter's agenda and Beppe Marotta is quite interested in taking over his services, although for more than when he left.
It would cost Inter around 20 million euros to get back a player who has made a name for himself in Belgian football with 67 matches at the age of 21 in Standard Liege's first team.
