He began by analysing Hazard's poor performance in an interview with 'Movistar+'. "I don't care at all. Eden is one of the best players in the world. It's just a matter of adaptation," Bob Martinez said.
"He always thinks about the team. He's having a bit of an adjustment to the team. He's a team player and he lacks that understanding with the players around him. The relationship between Eden and Zidane is perfect. He's going to adapt and he'll be a great player for Real Madrid," he explained.
For him, the problem is not only the player's, as the team also has to help with the adaptation. "Eden is a player who lives one-on-one, but those situations depend on the other players too. It also depends on the physical level," he said.
"Eden always plays and isn't used to dealing with injury situations. He's very self-critical and doesn't like to make excuses. This anxiety around him is going to help him a lot and I'm sure it's going to give him a great level," he said.
And he finished by assuring that the international break will be good for the Belgian. "Let's hope everything goes well in the next two games and Eden plays well for Belgium as our captain," he replied.
"I think it's going to help him to be in his environment to get that rhythm he needs and in two or three weeks he's going to be ready to see his level. He's a world figure and he just needs to adapt," said Roberto Martinez, to finish.
