Despite describing Jose Mourinho as "special", Eden Hazard says that he is more suited to the current Chelsea boss more. The Chelsea forward says her prefers Sarri's style of play and philosophy more than when he played under Mourinho but understands that the club's football is under scrutiny more than ever after a crushing 6-0 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday.
The drubbing means the Chelsea drop out of the top four, Champions League qualifiying spots in the Premier League with this defeat comprising one of three from their last four games. Hazard had expressed his desire to play under Mourinho again, with whom he won the league, but has more recently aligned himself with Sarri's style of football at Stamford Bridge.
He claims that each of his managers has given him something important and he appreciates playing under every manager.
"Jose Mourinho was special, but the way Sarri and Rudi Garcia [former Lille coach] like to play is more like my philosophy of football, but they've all given me a lot."
