Hazard prepares for final night at Stamford Bridge

Eden Hazard may start this Thursday in what is likely to be his final game for Chelsea. The Belgian appears destined to join Madrid this summer, but before has a chance to win one final trophy in Baku later this month.

Having arrived the summer after Chelsea's first and only Champions League triumph in the summer of 2012, nobody could have anticipated the level that the Belgian would progress to reach. In his 7 seasons at Chelsea, Hazard has progressed from potential future star, to world beater.

Since arriving from then Ligue 1 champions Lille in 2012, Hazard has turned into one of the best players in the World, and arguably is the best player in the Premier League.

However, after 7 years at Chelsea, in which Hazard has won the Premier League twice, the Europa League, the FA Cup and the League Cup, he also has the opportunity to add another Europa League to his collection this season as Chelsea look to keep their trophy cabinet filled. It would appear that his time in London has come to an end.

With Hazard seemingly destined to join Madrid this summer, this is a last chance for him to lift silverware with the London club.

Chelsea have tried time and time again to keep their star man at Stamford Bridge, but they have never been able to do so. They have offered a new contract to the Belgian over and over again, but to no avail, Hazard wants to join Madrid.

The Belgian was used as one of the main men in Chelsea's kit unveiling for next season, although this was perhaps Chelsea trying one last time to show just how important Hazard is to them, tonight he will likely be playing his final game at Stamford Bridge in front of the faithful Chelsea supporters.
