Following Neymar's insistence that he won't be leaving PSG this summer, Hazard appears to be far and away Real Madrid's number one choice to add to their strikeforce.
The Belgian's future at Stamford Bridge is unclear and with no Champions League football to offer him this year the 'Blues' face an uphill struggle to keep hold of their star, particularly after his recent admissions.
With that in mind, the aforementioned source claims that Real Madrid bigwigs have already outlined the offer that they are set to put on the table for Hazard, who would earn €15m per year in the Spanish capital, a significant increase on his current salary of €12m per annum.
As if that weren't tempting enough, the move would also provide Hazard with a new challenge at the club of his dreams and allow him to continue playing top-level European football.
Nevertheless, despite the player's wishes, Hazard remains under contract and so the ball is very much in Chelsea's court.
On the face of it, it seems unlikely that Chelsea would allow their star man to depart, particularly with a new manager having just taken over, though a big sale could allow Maurizio Sarri to shape his squad significantly.
According to 'TMW', Madrid are planning a €100m bid, with Chelsea looking for a figure closer to €150m.
