Tore Andre Flo, illustrious ex-Norwegian international who played for clubs such as Leeds United, Sunderland, Rangers and Chelsea, gave his thoughts on the potential arrival of his compatriot to Stamford Bridge. He feels that not only would he adapt rapidly, but that the Premier League would fit him like a glove.
"Haaland wouldn't have problems adapting at Chelsea or in the Premier League. He will score goals anywhere, but this league suits him. The culture in England is quite similar for anyone who who comes from Norway. It would be quite easy, or at least it was for me. By now all of us speak the language quite well, for that reason there shouldn't be any problems", he stated.
At the moment, Dortund's leading man has never played at England's elite level. However, he has proved more than his worth in the Bundesliga, the Austrian league and in his home country. The German league is the first of Europe's big leagues that he has taken to, and his club would only let him go for a very high sum.
The latest rumours in this regard point towards Chelsea preparing a 156-million euro bid to try and sway Dortmund. The Blues are clear on the matter - they want Haaland in their team for the 2021/22 season. If he does, he would become one of the most important signings of the summer, if not the most.
