Manchester City went into the World Cup break with a defeat against Brentford, in which Haaland was injured. The Norwegian FA have confirmed that he will miss the friendly against Finland.
"He is on the road to recovery, but still needs two to three weeks before he is ready to play. Therefore, he will not come to the Finland match," Norway's doctor Ola Sand explained.
"We have come to the conclusion that this is the best solution for Haaland after a consultation in Barcelona with Manchester City."
Haaland has a thigh injury. Guardiola's side want the former Borussia Dortmund player to be available on 22nd December when Man City host Liverpool in the Carabao Cup (21.00 CET).
