Erling Haaland will not be short of suitors in 2022. The Borussia Dortmund footballer is one of the players likely to feature in next summer's transfer news, but he is in no rush.
As transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano said, the Norwegian striker will wait until March or April to choose where to continue with his career.
It is now known that Borussia Dortmund agreed a relatively affordable price for next summer, but it is also well known that Mino Raiola's commisions and the superstar's salary mean Haaland's signing will cost a club millions.
Haaland will have several options. Real Madrid want him although it seems like everything will depend on what Kylian Mbappe does. Putting them together in the same team would be Florentino Perez's latest masterstroke. On the other hand, if the Frenchman leaves PSG, the team from the French capital will become the big favourites to get hold of the Norwegian striker because he would perfectly fill the hole left by the Frenchman.
In any case, the two teams will not be the only ones. Man City, the club his father played for, Liverpool, Chelsea and even Man Utd could have a lot to say. It is worth remembeing that Haaland has said publically on several occasions that he wants to play in the Premier League and this stage of his career could be the ideal moment to do that.
The least feasible option seems to be that of leaving for Bayern Munich. At the Bavarian side, they are thinking that he could be the perfect subistitute for Robert Lewandowski in the medium term, but Haaland wants to shine outside the Bundesliga now. We will have to wait until March or April to find out more information on the stat, but what seems clear is that his continuity at Borussia Dortmund is practically ruled out.
