Karim Adeyemi has joined Borussia Dortmund. The talented young striker, who is just 20 years old, arrives at Signal Iduna Park to replace Erling Haaland, who has already been confirmed as a signing for Pep Guardiola's Manchester City for next season.
The Germans, shortly after confirming the departure of their star player in recent seasons, have ensured the continuity of one of their policies in the transfer windows: to bring in players with a very high projection for the future in order to train them or sell them at a later date at a profit.
The Salzburg player, who will move to Dortmund this summer, has scored 23 goals and provided seven assists in 42 games this season, starting 36 of them. He will therefore arrive with plenty of experience to fight to adapt to one of the top five leagues and prove his worth.
The pressure he will be under, despite his young age, due to the comparison with Erling Haaland, an all-round striker who has shown a superb level in recent years, will have to be considered as a conditioning factor. Even so, Adeyemi's coach and Borussia's management will probably have enough patience to help him take this step forward.
