Manchester City have signed one of the great players who was on the market. The Sky Blue announced this week the signing of Erling Haaland for next season.
The striker, first, will play his last games in the Borussia Dortmund shirt before moving to cold and dreary Manchester, where he has signed a contract until 2027.
A few days after the signing was made official, 'Bild' revealed that Haaland has included a buyout clause in the deal with Manchester City, which is unusual in England.
The clause is 150 million euros and can only be activated after the second year of the contract. In other words, Haaland could leave Manchester City in 2024 for that amount of money.
It was Mino Raiola, before his death, who included this addendum in Erling Haaland's contract with Manchester City, with whom the Norwegian striker has finally signed.
In England, the same day of his signing, it was said that the Sky Blue is the intermediate step for the striker to join Real Madrid in the future.
