Ilkay Gundogan responded to criticism received on Wednesday night against Lyon as he scored Manchester City's third goal of the game in silky fashion.
Receiving the ball from Leroy Sane around 20 yards from goal, the German international played a one-two with Raheem Sterling to set himself up.
With just the right weight on the return ball, Gundogan lofted an exquisite strike into the top corner of Neil Etheridge's goal.
The ball kept rising before nestling right in the 'upper-90', and Pep Guardiola's side found themselves 3-0 up at half-time - Cardiff with a mountain to climb.
