Gudelj is the positive case of coronavirus at Sevilla. He himself confirmed the news in a video published on social media. He is fine and he is self-isolating.
"After testing positive for COVID-19, I want to inform you that I'm perfectly fine, without any symptoms. I hope to soon be back with my teammates and help the club achieve the goal this season, thank you very much for all the support," he added.
As soon as he has self isolated for the time required, he will be able to return to training with the rest of the players. He will have to be tested at least once more before returning to action. That is providing it comes back negative, of course.
As soon as he published the video on social media, he received tens of messages of support and affection. His preparation for the Europa League clash against Roma has been cut short and he will not be able to play in the match.

It is more evidence that a second wave of coronavirus in Spain is now affecting football. The Segunda play-offs have been suspended due to the positive cases at Fuenlabrada, Almeria and Zaragoza.
But, unlike what is happened in Segunda, the Europa League is not expected to be affected. They will face Roma in the Europa League and the clash is expected to go ahead without problems.
