Guardiola is still keen to bring the striker to the Ethiad stadium before the transfer window closes next week.
"I'm happy with the squad I have, but we're going to see. We have five or six days left, and I think the market is going to move", the Spaniard said.
The City manager also pointed out, that he is happy with the summer signings, with his side having already signed Benjamin Mendy and Bernardo Silva from Monaco, Kyle Walker from Spurs and Ederson from Benfica.
"I have had strong teams at my three clubs and I know how difficult it is but the clubs have always done as much as possible to make me happy", Guardiola said.
Sanchez himself is open to a switch to Manchester, however much depends if Arsenal will let the striker leave.
