Manchester City's ups and downs at the start of this season have sparked rumours about Pep Guardiola's possible exit at the end of his contract.
The great goal of winning the Champions League outside Barcelona also continues to elute the coach, but he does not despair and remains calm after the title poker harvested last season.
But in England and in the Premier League, as with the rest of the competitions, they live in the present and the future. For this reason, in his last press conference, he did not lack questions about a possible contract renewal.
"This will depend on results, I am very identified with the club", the coach commented, leaving the door open for his continuity whilst linking it to the results achieved.
At the moment, Guardiola can count on the City board's support, but he also asks for calm. "We have 18 months to think, in the football world that is a long time," he commented, making reference to when his contract ends in 2021.
