'Die Mannschaft' are stuck in a tough patch at the moment. The team are not performing at the required level and Hans Peter Briegel has pointed out the main culprit: Pep Guardiola.
"It's his fault. He deceived us by saying to win it was enough to have 75% of the possession. But it's not. Having control of the game is not enough," he explained.
Briegel would opt for a more direct approach: "You can win even by going back to a more traditional way of playing. The most important thing is to have a balance on the pitch".
"This is the result of a transition of players that has been done wrong," he said. Germany face the Netherlands on Monday as they hope to regain some form.
