Guardiola: Aguero and Jesus can play together

Guardiola revealed during the week that the long-term injury to left-back Benjamin Mendy had forced him to rethink his tactics and play just one up front, sacrificing one of his lethal strikers.
Before the season it was assumed that Aguero and Jesus, who have both scored 10 goals so far this term, would compete for one spot up front, but they actually paired up together very effectively in the early weeks.
However, since September, the loss of Mendy has meant City's attacking play down the left has relied more on Leroy Sane on the left-wing, which meant that there was one less sport up front.
But ahead of City's visit to Huddersfield on Sunday, Guardiola said: "They are going to play together as well, with Mendy or without Mendy.
"Until now I have decided to play in that way but I want to see how they compete with each other.
"They know they have to play good. If not, they have another guy with the same level and good quality will play.
"But they are going to play many games without Benjamin. They can play together."
