Antoine Griezmann, one of Barcelona's stars, admitted that he would like to retire by playing "one or two seasons" with a Major League Soccer (MLS) team.
He recalled this in an interview with the Los Angeles Times. Griezmann, an NFL and NBA fan, said he would love to play there because no one in the United States recognizes him on the street.
"Winning the league and the Champions League with Barca would be a dream, and also my goal. After that, to win whatever comes. There's another World Cup (Qatar) and after that season, MLS," said the striker, suggesting he doesn't see it as a long-term retirement, far from it.
Asked about which team he would choose, Griezmann said he doesn't care which one, just playing there. "It's a goal for me to finish my career in the United States with the possibility of playing well and being a big part of the team and fighting for a title," he insisted.
