Barcelona went in front in the match away to Real Valladolid through a goal from Arturo Vidal, with a good assist from Leo Messi. The Argentine has now hit 20 assists in a single league season.
Just four minutes later, Barcelona could have got their second and given themselves a cushion before the half-hour mark, but it wasn't to be because of an almost inexplicable reason.
The full-back Semedo joined the attack again and put in a low cross which became a pass of death, also catching the Valladolid defence out of position.
The ball reached Antoine Griezmann who was all alone practically at the six yard box. The goal was calling and the Frenchman hit the ball so hard that it even went past him and nowhere near the goal.
Griezmann lamented the miss and in the distance, Semedo could be seen holding his hands over his head as he could not explain how the ball did not end up in the goal.
