Since the start of 2020, Antoine Griezmann has scored 4 goals with Barcelona. 3 were in the Copa del Rey, a competition which Barcelona are now knocked out of, and one against Atlético Madrid, and one against Atlético Madrid in the failed Spanish Super Cup.
He hasn't scored or set up any in the league. An example of this was against Real Betis when De Jong, Busquets and Lenglet scored after 3 Messi assists.
His imprecision with passing was evident during the 89 minutes he was on the park. He hardly tried any dribbles nor could he connect with his teammates, except with Jordi Alba, who he tried to play a one-two with on several occasions. He had a good chance, but his slack shot with his right foot, after Messi handled, didn't' find the net.
A continuing trend with regard to the first half of the season. Griezmann isn't yet comfortable at Barca, a team in which he doesn't lead the attack like he did with Atlético Madrid.
It is a situation that Philippe Coutinho is now experiencing. The Brazilian ended up heading for the exit door. The French striker hopes that he will not have to repeat this, but nobody can blame him for his commitment. He works hard and gets around on the pitch in every game.
