Griezmann moves into France's top 10 goalscorers

France beat Germany 2-1 in their UEFA Nations League clash last night, however the game had significance for another reason. 

The hosts came back from behind, after a Toni Kroos penalty, to take all three points - however there was a clear standout performer: Antoine Griezmann. 

Griezmann, who is one of the favourites to win this year's Ballon d'Or, scored twice in order to add misery to the Germans and coach, Joachim Löw. 

'Die Mannschaft' have now lost six games in a calendar year for the first time in their history, with many calling for Löw to lose his job. 

Griezmann has now scored 26 goals in 64 games for his nation, however he still has come catching up to do with Thierry Henry in first place. 

Ahead of Griezmann are Benzema, Djorkaeff, Jean-Pierre Papin, Zidane, Giroud, Trezeguet, Platini and then the new Monaco manager, Thierry Henry. 

The former Arsenal and Barcelona striker managed to score 51 goals in 123 appearances for his nation. 

At 27, Griezmann still has time to move up the list.
