Griezmann is up against his favourite victim

Bilbao fear Griezmann. The Frenchman, who is in fine form, has netted eight times in 15 games against the Basque club. In fact, when he first signed for Atleti, it was a hat-trick against Bilbao that earnt him the adoration of the crowd. 

No doubt Griezmann will be looking to further his goal tally on Sunday, having scored six times in his last 15 games. He also put on a show in the Europa League against Copenhagen, scoring one and setting up another. 

"Griezmann is in excellent form," recognised manager Diego Simeone who is particularly fond of the Frenchman's high work rate on the pitch. 

 Against Copenhagen on Thursday night, Griezmann had already fired three shots on goal by the 12th minute - a statistic that Bilbao will be trying to keep as low as possible to limit the damage the Atleti striker is capable of.

Simeone will be hoping his team can easily secure all three points on Sunday though, as they look to maintain pressure on La Liga leaders Barcelona, who are currently looking over their shoulders worriedly at the second place.
