Griezmann explained why he made 'The Decision'

One of the protagonists in the world of football recently has been Griezmann. The Frenchman appeared on the show 'Universo Valdano' and spoke about a wide range of subjects: his relationship with Messi, his adaptation to Barca...
One of the moments that attracted most attention was when he spoke about 'The Decision', a documentary that debuted on 14 June 2018 in which the Frenchman confirmed his continuity with Atlético Madrid.
29 months have already passed since then and Antoine did not hesitate to clarify why he did so: "When I filmed the documentary on 'The Decision' I wanted to show the world that changing teams is not about going to a sweet shop and choosing between red and blue. I wanted to show what a professional suffers in such a circumstance".
The Frenchman also continued in the same vein: "I wanted to show that deciding on one team or another is very complicated. People thought it was a game and that I was laughing at the fans. I just wanted to show how a player doesn't know what to do and what to decide. Your wife, your parents, your children speak to you... but in the end you decide".
Finally, Griezmann said his parents were angry with him. "They didn't understand what I did when I recorded the documentary. Besides, they wanted to see me at Barcelona", he concluded.
