Gravenberch's agent hints at Real Madrid admiration but rules out summer move

Speaking to Marca, Fortes praised his client's quality, saying: "He's good enough for Real Madrid," but admitted that Liverpool's valuation makes any deal "impossible" at this stage.
Gravenberch, 22, joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich in 2023 for £15.8 million and has since established himself as a regular in Arne Slot's squad, making 39 appearances in his first season.
With a contract running until 2028 and weekly wages of £150,000, the Dutchman has quickly become a key figure at Anfield—both on the pitch and in terms of market value.
Fortes acknowledged Madrid's long-standing admiration for the midfielder but made it clear that financial realities would prevent any approach this summer.
"We would love for him to play for them," he said, "but Liverpool would ask for a lot of money." The Spanish giants, for their part, are said to be keeping tabs but are not in a position to meet such a demand.
While a move to the Bernabeu may be out of reach for now, the agent's comments suggest that the player's name remains on Madrid's radar. Should circumstances change—either in terms of Liverpool's stance or his development—a future move to Spain may not be entirely off the cards.
