Goretzka frustrated by Bayern's dawdling: United and Madrid wait in the wings

Goretzka, for example, is on the agendas of a number of big names. In the Premier League, United are considering him as a possible replacement for Paul Pogba if the Frenchman ends up leaving. In La Liga, Madrid have already let him know they want to sign him on a free when his contract at Bayern comes to an end in 2022.

Goretzka's standpoint on the matter is firm. 'Bild' indicates that the midfielder would prioritise staying at Bayern, although this would be on one condition - that his salary is reviewed.

However, the same German media outlet has revealed that Goretzka is starting to lose patience with Bayern's stance on the matter. According to the aforementioned source, his agents feel that negotiations have barely got started.

Meanwhile, United have made their move. According to 'Sport Bild', Goretzka has reportedly received a firm offer from the Red Devils. If Bayern don't react quickly with a new contract, Goretzka could make the decision to pack his bags and leave. In which case, United and Real Madrid will be waiting in the wings.
